Accelerator Fund

Based in Solwezi to support investment-ready businesses primarily in North-Western Province, the Accelerator Fund is managed by Kukula Seed. The fund’s aim is to create financially viable companies that contribute to inclusive economic growth in Zambia.

Investments range in size from ZMW 2-20 million, provided in a combination of debt and equity.

To date, the Accelerator Fund has invested ZMW 53 million (approximately £4.5 million) in nine projects, including microfinance, real estate, mining supplies, agriculture and sanitation. These investments have so far created 169 direct and 183 indirect jobs.
